1. Return Eligibility
All returns must be authorized in advance. Products returned without prior authorization will not be accepted.
To be eligible for a return:
-The item must be unused and in original condition
-The item must be in its original packaging
-A Return Goods Authorization (RGA) must be obtained prior to return
-The product must be in resalable condition
2. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
-All custom or made-to-order products
-Any altered or installed item
-Any item not in original packaging
-Any item returned without RGA approval
-Any item not in resalable condition
Due to the nature of customized products, all custom items are final sale and non-returnable.
3. Handmade & Material Characteristics Disclaimer
Our products are handcrafted. Slight variations in patina, color tone, texture, and dimensions may occur. These natural variations are not considered defects and are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.
Copper and stainless steel products may naturally develop patina, tarnish, or color changes over time. These changes are normal material characteristics and are not covered under warranty or insurance.
4. Damaged or Incorrect Items
Upon delivery, customers must inspect the product immediately.
If the product arrives damaged:
-Note the detailed damage with the shipping carrier at delivery
-Reject visibly damaged goods when possible
-Keep all original packaging
To file a damage claim, email info@fobestappliance.com within 48 hours of delivery and include:
-Three clear photos of the damaged item
-Three clear photos of the packaging
-Order information
Failure to notify within 48 hours may result in claim denial.
If the damage or error is confirmed, we will cover return shipping costs.
5. Quality Issues
-Products with verified quality defects are eligible for exchange only (no refunds).
-The item must be unused and in original packaging.
-Claims must be submitted within 48 hours of receipt with required photo documentation.
6. Refund Policy
If a return is approved (for eligible non-custom items):
A flat 20% restocking fee will be deducted from the original purchase price.
Additional fees may apply if:
-Returned without authorization
-Returned to the wrong address
-Returned in non-resalable condition
Refunds will be processed after inspection by our warehouse. Once approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Processing time depends on your financial institution.
7. Return Shipping Costs
-If the product is damaged or incorrect, we will cover return shipping costs.
-If returning for personal reasons (change of mind, etc.), customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Shipping costs vary based on product dimensions and destination.
8. Order Cancellation Policy
Cancellations within 24 hours: 3% transaction fee
Cancellations after 24 hours: minimum 10% transaction fee
Orders cancelled after 48 hours are not eligible for cancellation
9. Warranty
Warranties begin from the date of purchase:
Lifetime warranty – Copper, Brass, Zinc, and Stainless Steel Range Hood Covers
2-year limited warranty – Hood liner/insert
10-year limited warranty – Motor/blower
1-year limited warranty – Copper kitchen sink
Warranty does not cover:
-Products beyond the warranty period
-Improper installation or misuse
-Damage caused by accidents or failure to follow instructions
-Natural disasters (lightning, flood, earthquake, fire, etc.)
-Natural patina, tarnish, or color change in copper or stainless steel
10. Website Purchase Limitation
These policies apply only to products purchased directly from: www.fobestappliance.com
Products purchased from retail stores or third-party websites are not eligible under this policy.
11. Force Majeure
Fobest Appliance is not liable for delays or failure to perform obligations (excluding payment obligations) due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
-Natural disasters
-War or terrorism
-Government actions
-Port congestion
-Transportation delays
-Labor shortages
-Pandemics or epidemics
If a Force Majeure event continues beyond 30 days, either party may terminate the agreement without liability for future obligations. Buyer remains responsible for costs incurred prior to the event.
