Each metal range hood was custom-made for its home. Looking at these finished spaces, we were reminded once again that there is no single way to make a kitchen feel warm.

01. Copper — A Softer Kind of Warmth

Our first customer came to us with a simple feeling:

She wanted her modern kitchen to feel warmer.

Her kitchen already had a clean, contemporary character. She didn't want to change that. She simply wanted to take away some of the coolness and make the space feel softer and more welcoming.

After discussing the kitchen with her, we recommended Fobest Custom Copper Range Hood with Smooth and Hammer Finish FCP-22, with its modern bell-shaped silhouette.

The shape felt right immediately. Its clean structure suited the modern kitchen, while the curved form gave it a softer presence.

Then came the material.

Copper has a warmth that color alone cannot quite recreate.

Its warm metallic surface responds beautifully to light, creating soft variations across the hood. Under the warm lighting in this kitchen, the copper feels almost hazy—gentle, glowing, and quietly inviting.

It didn't make the kitchen more rustic.

02. Fire Copper — A Kitchen Full of Life

Our second customer came from Florida, and her kitchen had a completely different personality.

The moment we saw it, we felt its energy.

Natural wood. Stone. A textured stone column. A classic farmhouse setting filled with layers of material and character.

Nothing about this kitchen felt cold or overly polished. It felt alive.

And for this space, we knew almost immediately:

Fire Copper belonged here.

Its rich red-copper tones bring a more expressive kind of warmth. Against the natural wood and stone, the color feels vivid and energetic—almost like a flame glowing in the kitchen.

It also felt right for the homeowner herself: warm, natural, and full of enthusiasm.

This project required quite a bit of back-and-forth. Because of the complexity of the kitchen structure, we went through multiple drawing revisions, carefully checking the dimensions and making sure the range hood would work within the space.

There were many small details to confirm.

But when she finally shared the finished kitchen with us, we knew every revision had been worth it.

The Fire Copper range hood didn't simply fit into the kitchen. It became part of its personality.

03. Aged Brass — Warm, But Never Heavy

The third brass range hood was made for a professor of classics.

His taste was thoughtful and precise. He liked the clean character of a modern kitchen, but he didn't want it to feel cold.

At the same time, he wasn't looking for the obvious warmth of copper.

So we turned to brass.

The flowing lines of the hood immediately caught his attention. They gave the design a natural sense of movement, while still feeling clean and contemporary.

But the real character came from the finish.

We developed a custom aged brass tone with just a hint of vintage character. It has warmth and history, but without becoming dark, heavy, or overly traditional.

Paired with his green cabinetry, the result feels elegant and distinctive.

Modern, but not cold.
Classic, but not old-fashioned.
Warm, but never too much.

It was a reminder that warmth can take many forms—and the right metal can find the balance that feels right for a particular home.
